Lie to Me: Our Stand Against Fake and Useless Data

When we founded Shanghai Jungle in 2013, our primary focus was on tourism marketing, corresponding with the boom in outbound Chinese tourism. In those formative years, we acquired extensive experience within the tourism sector, working with a diverse array of major clients—including destinations, attractions, and hotels.

Over time, while we have continued to work extensively in tourism promotion, our expertise has expanded significantly. Today, two-thirds of our business centers around brand and e-commerce campaigns, where our objective is not merely to increase reach, but to drive sales for our clients and the brands we distribute in China.

Our Company

Majority of our business today comes from results driven work with brands

This evolution in our services underscores a crucial distinction: tourism marketing is often about maximizing exposure, whereas sales-driven marketing prioritizes conversion. The effectiveness of a sales campaign isn’t measured by the number of people who see it, but rather by how many take action. A campaign that reaches millions but results in no sales is fundamentally flawed. In contrast, many traditional tourism-focused agencies rely on inflated metrics and superficial engagement figures to claim success, sometimes resorting to artificial enhancements of their reach (i.e. to buying fake followers).

1000 followers for 1 EUR: Buying fake followers, impressions, likes, and comments in China is easy and cheap. Anyone can do it, and most agencies do.

You call it 'reading data'; I call it 'fake engagement'. Companies offering this service openly advertise online, allowing you to choose the cheapest option from hundreds of providers.

We believe in a different approach. Our compensation structure for our work with brands, largely based on commission from actual sales generated through our marketing campaigns, reflects our commitment to tangible results. This performance-based model means we deeply understand and prioritize the importance of real outcomes.

Even in tourism marketing, where KPIs may be impressions and engagement rather than direct sales, we apply the same results-oriented mindset we use in our brand marketing operations. Our promise to you is to bring this mentality to our work, ensuring that our efforts drive conversions and meaningful engagement—mobilizing our extensive industry knowledge and dynamic marketing strategies to achieve your objectives.

At Shanghai Jungle, our dedication to customer satisfaction is more than just numbers. We don’t just seek to secure your budget; we look to deliver results that truly matter. Our mission is to approach every campaign with the same dedication and precision that we apply to sales-driven projects, always aiming to convert visibility into tangible outcomes.

Let us bring our proven expertise and approach to your projects, ensuring every effort leads to impactful results.
